Alohaaa, Today was the best day so far, we started the day going to the Pearl Harbor which was so amazing!!! We got to be at the same place where there is a huge piece of US and world history. Later we went to a "Luau" at the Paradise Cove and had so much fun. There was a lot of native dances, games and good food. The sunset was amazing!!!! Some of the students got to dance at the stage with the dancers. Gabi and Enrique were two of them. Gabi had to shake her hips more then ever, and Enrique dressed up as one the girls and shaked his hips too! Hahahahaha! We came back to the hotel and stayed at the lobby and laughed like crazy! We don't wanna go back home AT ALL! The trip was so much fun, and we made so many good friends! Byeeeeee, and Mahalo everybody!!!! Gabi, Barbara, Diego e Fer (Brazilians)

Aloha everyone ..
Our trip is almost in the end. I can not believe that we are going home in two days, we made friends and this place is absolutely amazing. I found a perfect combination of my country (Brazil) and the United States. Today we were in two groups .. one half went to the same beach that we had our first surf lessons and the other group went to another beach where during the right season they have the huge waves. Both of us had a lot of fun and the day for me was the best day in this trip! After that all of us went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and everyone had the chance to explore the culture from all the islands! We are having fun .. and I just don't want to go back! Thanks everyone for everything .. (Diego Lima - Inbound Exchange Student,District 6220,from Brazil)

today, April 10 we met at lobby at 7:30 then we had same breakfast as yesterday at Denny´s, after breakfast we got on the bus drove 15 min to Diamond-head mountain where we saw the mountain , everyone were like: oh my god! No one is going to make it! But we still took the challenge! And climbed it.
In the beginning it was pretty easy, BUT after 10 min we saw like 100 stairs and felt like we were going to die. Once at the top we enjoyed the view and took a lot of pictures of the beautiful landscapes. At around 11 we got back to the hotel and spent our free time; enjoying the pool shopping and laying on the beach until 2. Then we took the trolley to go to the huge
mall of Honolulu where we spent a lot time and money in multiple stores. At 5 we all went to Bubba Gump shrimp restaurant to have a delicious sea food dinner with a lot of great meals that we could choose. During the dinner we the waitresses made us play a game about Forest Gump to win pens and stuff from restaurant. At night we all presented a show to express our great talents. The girls won the show by dancing the Macarena, taking the idea of the boys ( girls rule, boys drule!) And we all enjoyed everybody´s special demonstration. Another great day came to its end, this trip is definitely amazing|!

Today, April 9th, after an early wake up, we met in the lobby at 7:30 to go have a yummy breakfast at Dennys. Then we took the bus and drove for half an hour to get to Hanauma Beach. After getting our snorkeling equipment, we all jumped into the water and spent most of our time in there, watching the beautiful fish, taking pictures and trying to catch them. The water was so clear and the sun warmed us up during the whole morning. At around 2, we left the beach to head back to the hotel. There we enjoyed our free time; shopping, being lazy on the beach, walking around and visiting the amazing streets of Honolulu. At 7, we headed to the greatest sandwich place of Hawaii, Cheeseburgers in Paradise where we ate the delicious meals offered to us. After the dinner, we wandered in the streets, dancing with the Hawaiian singers, meeting the Firemen ( lol, so much fun ) and petting the cutest Hawaiian guinea pig on earth. The day went by so fast, but will still remain in our heart for sure!

So today waking up at 8 a.m.to be ready at 9 a.m. and eat a good breakfast in the lobby before going to our new adventure: surfing ! After 1 hour of a bus tour and a great guide, we arrived to a beautiful beach where we were going to learn for the first time how to surf! Pretty exciting! Unfortunately the weather was not the best, we were expecting more sun but, in Hawaii it's always warm so no disappointment ! The water was cold at first but when you get in it's nicer! Surfing is not so hard if you have some balance but when you fall the rocks can hurt! The best part of the day was when we saw the giant turtles and taking picture of them was pretty amazing! After being really tired and hungry we got to a park and we ate our lunch (Bentos or sandwich). After a long day we went back and hang out in the city, shopping or walking across the beach!
